But how exactly are you supporting them then?
By posting ship edits on X?
Is Netflix going to see your 47th quote tweet and personally fly them to an Oscar-worthy project?

The PH might not be the best. The storyline might have flaws. Criticise it. But cancelling the subscription because you don’t like their screen time isn’t helping your favourites either. If you want them to get better opportunities, making their current project less successful is a dumb way to go about it.

We’ve watched 8 episodes. Eight. Let the season breathe. If you get to episode 50 and still think they’ve been handled badly, then by all means, drop your support for S3.

Pirating isn’t “supporting the actors.” If you can’t afford the subscription, that’s understandable. But cancelling it as a protest and making daily announcements about it?
Nothing to be proud of there.

S1 had flaws too. You still wanted S2 because you loved the chemistry. So maybe don’t lose patience with S2 before it’s even had the chance to become the season you asked for.

And let’s not pretend there’s been nothing good.
Weren’t some of you saying, “oh, they look so married in S2”?

Some of you clearly don’t realise how brutal the Turkish industry can be. Series can be axed when they don’t get the numbers they’re expected to, and actors getting dragged over their projects and personal lives is hardly anything new. So enjoy Arafta while it lasts, because once it ends, it’s not going to be all sunshine and rainbows for your faves either.
