@nationalrailenq Thank you for checking. Cross country have now confirmed no ticket acceptance on LNER or Lumo, only on the Chiltern into London but we have no other route to Scotland from there. Can you advise on what to do? We would have changed to Avanti further north but there's no route now.
@nationalrailenq Two of us are travelling to Glawsgow today. We got to Oxford then were told the train was cancelled. We then boarded the 10:11 service to Marylebone as instructed. Can you confirm that ticket acceptance is in place to allow us to travel via London on LNER or Lumo trains.
Hi @coopuk I bought a pack of 6 crumpets yesterday and this morning they were mouldy. The best before date is today but they should still be good for at least today - can you help?
@Tesco So today I walked a mile to the station, paid £7.50 to get a 30 minute train, walked another mile to the nearest supermarket (another Tesco), bought all the food for the week I could carry, minus everything that wasn't stocked, and repeated the journey in reverse. Not ideal.
@Tesco I had a delivery due yesterday evening. When it didn't show up, but was marked as 'delivered' on my account I called you. The man I spoke to was very helpful but all he could tell me was that all the deliveries on the same van had strangely been marked 'undeliverable'.
@Tesco I have recieved no contact from you at all, only the message on my account saying they were delivered when they weren't and the money being taken from my account. I'm on holiday in rural Scotland without a car, so I dont have any food in a convinient corner shop to tide me over.
Shocking. In today’s Times, Work and Pensions Dept tried to suppress their own report showing that sanctions on benefit claimants make work situation worse, and for the most vulnerable.
@charleyeg But for internal awards and certificates the school should be able to make their own rules. Authorised absences still count against the school when our attendance is judged by the LA, but when we give out certificates or awards we can do what we like.
@potteriesbuses Hi Sara, I've tried and it's still not working, the 'transfer now' button hasn't appeared. I've tried refreshing the app, closing and reopening in and turned my phone off and on again. Anything else I can try?
Hi @potteriesbuses my phone broke on Friday so I borrowed a spare handset until I could get a new one. I transfered my ticket to the spare phone. I now have a new phone (yay) but I can't transfer my annual ticket to it because there's no 'transfer now' option (boo). Can you help?
@ZJAyres It was a few years ago now, but the injustice of it still bothers me. I’m sorry you had to go through this. I can only offer my solidarity and hope that with more people standing up against these things, the culture can start to change!
@ZJAyres I had a similar experience with Keele university, who refused to accept the portion of a meeting recording where I had left the room and the other people in the meeting forgot they were being recorded. The vile things that were said about me. I left Keele as soon as I could!
@potteriesbuses What’s going to change though? I could understand the occasional issue but this happens constantly. People can’t depend on your service, so they stop using it. You put up the fares because bus usage goes down and those of us who rely on the bus are paying more for worse service
Twice in one day, @potteriesbuses, aren’t you lucky! Would have been great to know the 25 from Hanley at 15:38 wasn’t running today and the 15:50 was running 8 minutes late. You’ve now made me late for work and miss a doctor’s appointment all in the same day.
