The @ukhomeoffice needs to explain why they allowed Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi to enter the country.

They have previously banned right-wing politicians from Europe and America from entering because they considered their presence “not conducive to the public good”.

Yet someone who praises Osama bin Laden is free to enter and get an award from the @churchofengland.

Why? Was there a lapse in vetting? Do they not apply these rules consistently, or is there an internal culture within our institutions where doing these checks on certain groups would be considered racist?
