This afternoon I'm doing a lesson on Myths and Legends with my students! We're going to start with a little quiz to see how many of these gods and goddesses they can name.

Have a go yourself! The bottom line is the toughest, so bonus points for identifying them!

I'll be teaching Myths and Legends as an enrichment subject over the next few weeks. Had to start keeping a notepad next to my bed as I always seem to get great ideas for topics and lessons as I'm nodding off!

It's good to see most lessons will be subtitled, hopefully they all will be soon. Rolling out signed videos is good, but needs expanding for all key stages and subjects on offer.

We’re also improving the accessibility of our other content. Nearly all lessons will now be subtitled and we're starting to add @BritishSignBSL for lessons for the lower age groups. This is thanks to the amazing support of @itvnews and @NDCS_UK

@TeacherToolkit Our school is running a full timetable as we were before the lockdown but online via Google Classroom. We're a small service, but its been really effective so far. We're running core subjects alongside an enrichment timetable.

While I agree that the @OakNational is an incredible and vital resources I find it incredulous that there should be time/ resources to provide Latin lessons but not to subtitle their videos for Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Students and Teachers. @NDCS_UK can you help?

Some pictures of the Pride Month display I did at my school last year.

I'm the LGBTQ+ & Equalities Officer there, and we get plenty of LGBTQ+ young people come through our doors. I think being openly Gay gives them a lifeline, someone who will listen and support them.
