There’s a soul sickness in our state when Tennessee Republican legislators are more concerned with protecting gun manufacturers from lawsuits, than children from being killed by mass shootings.
We said, protect children not guns they choose the guns.
This is morally insane.
Happening now: Elementary school children are writing letters to @GovBillLee because they want to feel safe at school.
They’ll be delivering the letters later today.
@NC5
Williams on Fox: I’m sick and tired of standing in front of a camera.. We have to talk about guns! AR-15’s are killing our babies and our citizens in this country and we have to do something about it
A total of 376 law enforcement officers were at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde.
19 students and two educators were still shot dead.
At Covenant Christian school, there were armed staff members on the premises.
Three 9 year olds and 3 adults were still shot dead.
Today there a was shooting at a bank in Louisville. A bank with armed guards.
Four people were still shot dead and nine more, including two police officers, were injured.
AR-15s were used in each of those horrific shootings.
So tell me again how it is that “more guns” are the answer.
I’ve been doing this work for nearly 11 years and today was the first time I cried because I can feel a shift in the zeitgeist in America against gun extremism. It’s happening.…
WATCH: Days after six people were killed in a Nashville school, Tennessee Republicans are considering HB 1202 to allow teachers to carry guns in schools. @momsdemand volunteers are out in force to oppose this dangerous and deadly policy. #tnleg
Demonstrators flooded the Tennessee State Capitol on Thursday, with loud chants of “Gun control now” and “Not one more” outside the House chamber. https://t.co/HtxkuYgois
The doors were locked.
The teachers were armed.
TN expanded firearm access.
The police arrived in minutes.
Covenant school had everything that MAGA GOP assured us prevents & stops mass shootings. And 3 babies & 3 adults were murdered in seconds.😳
IT’S—THE—GUNS

I’ve never made a political social media post in my life, and I’m 100% comfortable posting this. It’s not political. I’m posting it because my wife is a teacher. And because we have 2 school-aged kids. And because I’m proud to work with @CoachBrentKey and call him a friend.
