One way to get parents involved in the classroom is to invite them into class for reading groups! The students love having a family member there and it makes this time of day all the more special #acuedu_p#parentengagement@P4Learning
I've been teaching my Prac class about data and this week we focused on column graphs. The students were each given a handful of counters and had to sort them into colour groups then graph, such fun! #acuedu_p
Used the alphabet caterpillar today as a summative assessment of my Kindergarten's knowledge of upper case and lower case letters. We have been focusing on upper case and lower case letters and when to use each, and they thoroughly enjoyed this matching activity! #ACUedu_p
Loving learning about new science concepts from my peers... This week we learnt about 'Built Environments', specifically looking at effective table and chair heights and appropriate and inappropriate stairs ๐บ #acuedu_p
I can't wait to learn more about; managing children's behaviour, teaching strategies that work best for me and how I can best set up MY future classroom. #acuedu_p
Awesome lecture this morning, given by two past ACU students who are now both teaching full time... Was so valuable hearing from people who were in the same position as me this time last year. #acuedu_p
I don't think there is enough focus on this topic! Its so important to take care of ourselves before we take care of anybody else #acuedu_p https://t.co/GcVA6EhYNz
