@DeeSTEM_Teach My admin team is phenomenal. They stop by often to check on us and ask if they can do anything for us....and they follow through on our requests. They acknowledge our work and support us.
@brassoteach Alice Lewis, 3rd grade teacher at Lee E/S in Satsuma, AL. She was as tough as nails on me with all the loving and kindness at the same time. She's my Facebook friend today and I love her so much!
I've been "hungry" for this information for so long. I feel empowered to help ALL students become successful in literacy. Thanks to all who had a hand in providing this training opportunity to Alabama educators. #BaldwinProud@Alabama_Reading

1. People first
2. Always being real > Always being right
3. Stay positive, but realistic
4. Pursue excellence, not perfection
5. Control the controllables

1. Introduce ambitious vocabulary
2. Read and discuss WAGOLL
3. Shared write
4. Independent writing
