On the 3rd day of the @ilo 113 session of the International Labour conference in Geneva we have just confirmed there will be an international instrument in the form of convention supplemented by recommendations and in the next 10 days we will negotiate its content.

-Collective bargaining
-Full respect of workers’ and trade union rights
-Fair wages

In the next MFF @EU_Commission must ensure strong, reinforced and separate European Social Fund (ESF+) with a significantly increased budget in the 2028-2034 financial framework to protect the most vulnerable and maintain European Social Model.

Conservatives again sided with the far right.
With a shameful vote the EPP and far right members of the @Europarl_EN refused to secure the funding for a European Child Guarantee, a key tool in combating child poverty.

Luxembourg’s government is attacking the rights of the trade unions.
