Has anyone seen published?:
1. The budget Diana Fox Carney controls
2. Signing or approval authority over grants or contracts
3. Whether she has government-funded staff, travel, or office support
The complete lack of a public selection process and the absence of those details is obvious. Media is unwilling to point out the transparency gap
It was quite the juxtaposition yesterday.
In Hamilton, 500 layoffs at Stelco. In Washington, a celebration of a massive new steel plant.
Today, more tariffs that will kill jobs kick in.

Hey Prime Minister Carney Can You Ask Your Friends In Europe Or All Those Billionaires Who Came To The Investment Summit To Fix This
All these Steel Workers who have paid big Canadian Taxes & worked their asses off for years need their jobs back
Mr Prime Minister what's up?
Since trade talks with the U.S. dissolved, Carney has granted exclusive sit-down interviews to two U.S. outlets, but none in Canada, writes @terrynewman

Six Tim Hortons restaurants in Eastern Ontario have gone bankrupt. According to Blacklock’s, their operators blame changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
If your business depends on cheap labour to survive, you need a different business model.
This post is going viral because it clearly calls out the wild failure of Canada’s healthcare system.
There is nothing universal or free about it.
We need choice and access.
Canada and Sweden both spend roughly 11% of GDP on healthcare.
The results?
• Hip replacement: 80-day wait in Sweden vs. 125 days in Canada
• Knee replacement: 111 days vs. 151 days
• Unmet medical needs caused by waiting: 2% vs. 9.1%
• Doctors per 1,000 people: 4.4 vs. 2.8
Nearly half of Sweden’s primary-care centres are privately operated but publicly funded. Private providers also perform more than 40% of publicly funded hip and knee replacements and over 70% of cataract procedures.
Patients choose. Public funding follows. Capacity grows. Wait times fall.
Sweden didn’t destroy universal healthcare by allowing private delivery, it improved access to it.
Canadians need to stop vilifying other healthcare models, like the US, especially when ours leaves people to die.
Competition is not privatization. And forcing sick Canadians to wait is not compassion.
Canada must stop protecting the system from patients and start building a system that serves them.

There’s something deeply out of touch about a former central banker telling people who can’t afford groceries that “we are the strong.” The markets aren’t impressed by slogans. Neither am I. Stop the self-congratulation and fix the country.
Because a debate after the deal, is not a debate it is a rubber stamp. Thet call it the People's House for a reason, and right now the people are finding our about their own future from an American newspaper - Ben Mulroney tells it like it is...
Prime Minister jet-sets to Europe, vacations in Tuscany, goes to FA Cup soccer games and addresses the EU parliament about “associate” membership for Canada while Canada’s House of Commons sits empty — https://t.co/rwrCSAc6li
Media bias on display:
Carney negotiates a deal in secret with EU officials, then gets caught lying about.
What does most of the Canadian media focus on?
Manufacturing gossip pieces about Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
I have lived on this earth in excess of 60
Years. Never during that time have I seen a greater master of deception than our current Prime Minister!
His grand announcements, economic numbers, MOU’s and fiscal projections all amplified by a bought and paid for state media machine.
All the while Canada is being sold off, resource industries kneecapped, armed forces gutted, manufacturing decimated.
Go back 11 years, is Canada better off today? Are you better off today? Go back 18 months, is Canada better off today? Are you better off today?
Inflation rising
Debt spiralling
Deficits doubling
Corruption rampant
Conflict of interest commonplace
Truth twisted
Media complicit
Accountability nonexistent
Transparency absent
Integrity missing
Wake up Canada, our nation cannot sustain this blatant abuse at the hands of our so called leaders.
An house of cards built by a master of deception has but one destiny, rubble!
The Prime Minister can’t seem to get his story straight about the “associate membership,” “unique alliance,” or whatever else he is negotiating with the EU.
Conservatives are clear: we support the decades-old free trade & NATO defence alliance with Europe.
But no EU taxes, no EU laws, and no EU open-border immigration policies should be imposed on Canadians.
Canada must be independent and sovereign. Period.
