A slow start to the semi, but a strong comeback in the fifth and sixth. A great in-wick from Andy Woolston in the seventh took away our potential steal and left us chasing in the eighth. Unfortunately the freeze attempt from the skip was a foot heavy and let Andy run us out.

A solid win against Robbins puts the mixed team on 3-1, and qualified to the semi-finals tomorrow without having to play their last game - the section being decided after the fourth game.
The team will play against the old skipper, Andy Woolston tomorrow at 10.00 on Sheet B!
A seventh end come-back with a big score of three to take a 7-6 win in the extra against Jacob Whittle (we'll let you know when Jim has stopped shaking...). We're back on tomorrow at 10.00 against Andrew Robbins!
5-1 loss to an on-form Farnell team. Close until the 6th, an over-curl on the guard left a shot for three and that was that. Lots of positives going forward into our next game against Jacob Whittle at 15.30!
Jim and Colin are back at it in @TheFlowerBowlEC for the @English_Curling mixed champs win Siân Stockwell and Fiona Spain. They play their first game against Tranmer at 16.00!
We'd also like to say a massive thanks to our sponsors, @AgriiUK , Ancroft Tractors Ltd , @FrontierAg, and Scot Agri
We'll see you again soon, and Colin and Jim will be rocking the pink kit with our sponsors for the ECA Mixed next month!
A final win against Gasson yesterday put us on 4-2 and a third place finish. A little disappointed not to make the final, but plenty of positives going forwards! A massive thanks to our coach, Andy this week too.
A mixed day today, a close 6-3 loss to Retchless and an 8-4 win against Hills. Unfortunately the loss to Retchless puts us out of proceedings this year, but we've one last game for pride against Gasson tomorrow morning.
Big game this morning against reigning champions, Team Retchless. You can find the live stream of Sheet C on Dumfries Curling's YouTube channel

A loose loss last night against Clark, 12-6. A few poor shots, but main lesson to take away is that really ought to stop giving away 3s... Onwards and upwards, though!
Away from the ice, Andrew is a farmer in Northumberland with a successful business and plenty of experience on his CV. In the summertime, if he's not in the fields, he can often be found in the local cricket club.
Let's meet the team!
Last up, it's the skipper! Andrew Reed (or Radar) with the most experience on the team, hunting down another national title and another crack at the Europeans.
