Beat the rain to wick. 993 miles done, about 17 left for tomorrow. Just need to find somewhere to stay for the night and get a beer or two.

Chris' 2nd flat of the day has used our last spare. Nice day along the coast in the sun, but sky is now darkening, 20 mi to go til shelter.

Day of firsts today, no fried breakfast, on bikes before 9am, 30 miles done before midday. Currently enjoying the sun on a nice beach!

We seem to have cycled so far north that the sun doesn't go down. Still clear blue sky outside at 22:15, strange country.

Its seems the maximum speed a fly can maintain is 13mph. Keep the pedals turning.

Team Aruba has arrived at tonights castle. Anyone who thinks there are no flies on us are wrong - the countryside is teaming with them!

Short day today, 54 miles. Home and showered by 16.15, it's a record. Staying in a castle for the night, very scottish.

Made it across to the east coast, just stopped for a spot of lunch in dingwall on the cromarty firth. Not far to go now.

After a 65 mile day down the canals and lochs of the great glen we've arrived at our b&b to be greeted with sherry and shortbread. Scrummy.

Having a busy day so far. Got bike fixed , now washing all our clothes whilst lounging around a cafe. Might get some cycling done later.

Today's stats. 77 miles at 12.6 mph due to mountains and wind, takes us to 794 so far. Two short days next, so time fo a bit of a rest :o)
