No one should have to go through this let alone a father mourning the sudden loss of his son. Seeing the media behave in this way makes me feel physically sick and alarmed at their lack of humanity. Can you not do the respectful thing and give him the privacy he needs?!

Liam Payne's father, Geoff Payne, arrived at the hotel where his son lost his life. Liam's fans are fighting with the paparazzi to protect his privacy at this time, putting up their hands and backpacks so they can't take pictures.

One beautiful thing that has come from this is getting to relive the special moments the boys shared throughout the years. Each video and photo reviving the memories of some of the happiest times in my life and hopefully theirs. I am so grateful I was there to enjoy the journey.

Struggling to come to terms with the news, I keep thinking back to 16 year old Liam singing his heart out, achieving his dreams and being so hopeful of his future and the reality of it ending this way is saddening. He will always hold a place in my heart as part of One Direction.
