ಒಣ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಘಟಕ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಲು 'ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಡಿಗೆ' ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಣ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಘಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಶಾಸಕರು, ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಚಿ��ರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗಾ ರೆಡ್ಡಿಯವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಒಣ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಘಟಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಖರಿ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಒಣ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪೂರ್ವ ವಲಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ನಡೆದ “ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತರ ನಡೆ ವಲಯದ ಕಡೆ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಂದ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರೊಬ್ಬರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ���ಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿ, ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ 42 ಕಡೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಕ���ಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಶೀಘ್ರ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ವೇಳೆ ವಲಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಸ್ನೇಹಲ್, ವಲಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಸರೋಜ, ಉಪ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ರಾಜು, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಭಿಯಂತರರಾದ ಸುಗುಣಾ, ಕಾರ್ಯಪಾಲಕ ಅಭಿಯಂತರರು, ಪಾಲಿಕೆ, ಜಲಮಂಡಳಿ, ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
