For the first time in the history of Nigeria, Edo state local government election will be defined well through the participation of the @NgLabour family! Let's watch out.

Reversing the Sudden Fuel Price Increase:
As Nigerians continue to groan under extremely difficult economic conditions, largely caused by the Federal Government's wrong policy choices, the NNPCL has once again raised the price of fuel (PMS) without providing any explanation.
This is both unfortunate and insensitive, considering the wide-ranging negative consequences for our economic survival and well-being.
This is neither how an economy’s resources should be managed nor how a nation should be governed. In this new measure, there is neither sound economics nor necessary compassion.
We are told that the NNPCL is now a limited liability company, regulated by agencies such as the NUPRC and NMDPRA, yet there seems to be growing confusion about the roles and responsibilities of the NNPCL and these regulating bodies.
Interestingly, both the NNPCL and the regulatory agencies are supposed to be under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria serving as the substantive Minister. Who, in this arrangement,
is regulating who?
With the unprecedented but avoidable hardship that Nigerians are enduring, the responsibility for providing a full explanation, offering alternative options, and most importantly, reversing the sudden price hike falls squarely on the Honorable Minister of Petroleum Resources/President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We hope and pray that he acts in the best interest of the majority of Nigerians, who are living under unnecessarily precarious conditions, and that he does so before his return from his working vacation.
To casually inflict such a draconian measure on the populace from the comfort of an annual vacation amounts to taking the people’s welfare lightly and for granted.
A New and more compassionate Nigeria is indeed Possible! -PO
We're back on the campaign trail, and the reception continues to be incredible. The energy and love from our people in Edo State have been nothing short of awe-inspiring.
As we traverse markets to neighbourhoods, the aspirations of hard-working traders, the dreams of ambitious youth, and the wisdom of our elders all fuel our commitment to building a better Edo State.
To everyone who has come out to receive us, your faith in our vision humbles us deeply. We reaffirm our commitment to making Edo State a place where everyone can thrive.

The heart of our campaign beats strongest when we're among the people. Each interaction, every handshake, and all the shared smiles have become the fuel that drives our mission forward.
Our message remains clear: a vote for the Labour Party is a vote to positively reset Edo State. We're not just promising change; we're committed to delivering it.
Edo deserves better, and together, we'll make it happen.

Yesterday, I attended the commissioning of the magnificent twenty thousand-seater International Worship Centre of the Christ Chosen Church of God International in Benin City. This impressive edifice stands as a testament to the church's growth and dedication. My heartfelt congratulations go out to the Spiritual Leader, Apostle David Unuefe Ikhuiwu, and the entire congregation on this significant milestone.
The event was made even more special by the presence of my father, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who was the guest minister. Seeing him brought back a flood of memories and emotions.
My Christian journey is inextricably linked with Papa Oritsejafor's ministry. For over two decades, while living in Warri, I was blessed to sit under his spiritual guidance, first at the Church of God Mission International (CGMI) and later at the World of Life Bible Church which he founded. The church's motto, "Building and Equipping Those Who Build the Nation," now seems prophetic, resonating deeply with my current pursuits.
May God continue to bless Papa Oritsejafor and sustain his ministry for generations to come.
Throughout this journey, I've had the privilege of engaging with the diverse communities that make Edo State so vibrant. However, two recent meetings stand out for me for the sobering reality they revealed.
I sat with a group of Persons With Disabilities, hearing about their daily struggles with accessibility and societal barriers. Subsequently, I met with a community of deaf persons, whose perspectives highlighted the need for improved communication access. Both underscored our collective failure to ensure true inclusivity.
We need more than just laws on paper. We need robust implementation, accessible infrastructure, and a mindset shift. This isn't just a campaign promise, but a long-term commitment requiring effort from all: the Government, civil society, and citizens.
Under a Labour Party Government, Edo State will work with advocacy groups to become a model for integrating Persons With Disabilities into society.
This isn't about charity or tokenism, but recognising every citizen's dignity and rights. Our progress is linked to how we treat our most vulnerable.
Our vision: an Edo State where no one is left behind and where every citizen contributes to our growth.

Today, about one month before the Edo State 2024 Gubernatorial Election, I am proud to release my comprehensive manifesto - 'My Pact with the People of Edo State.'
This manifesto is the product of my extensive engagement with the citizens of our beloved state. Over the past couple of months, I have traversed the length and breadth of Edo, visiting well over 60 towns and villages across all 18 local government areas. From Igueben to Iguobazuwa, Ikpeshi to Iruekpen, and Agenebode to Abudu, I have listened intently to the real-life challenges faced by our people.
This document is not just my vision; it is a testament to your voices, your concerns, and your aspirations. I have thoughtfully crafted this pact to address the pressing issues that matter most to you and our State- from security to economic growth to education, healthcare to infrastructure. It is a roadmap to transform our state and unlock Edo State’s immense potential.
You can click here https://t.co/wxGKgrLGjb to view or download the manifesto. I urge each of you to review this document closely. Your continued input is invaluable. After reading the manifesto, please share your thoughts, suggestions, and feedback.
Your votes for the Labour Party on 21st September 2024 will ignite this transformative journey and enable us to make this vision a truth.

Was delighted to join my brother and the Labour Party Candidate in the 2023 Delta State Gubernatorial Elections, Ken Pela @KKenPela and his Family, in their country home in Oginibo, Delta State, for the traditional wedding ceremony of his daughter Ogheneyoma to Mr. Nsikan-Abasi Paul-Bassey. It was a beautiful ceremony that featured the culture and traditions of the Urhobo and Efik in full display and yet again underscored the unity in diversity that remains one of the untapped resources of our great nation, Nigeria. I wish the couple a blissful union.
You can help sponsor an IDP child education with just 3,700 sharwama money. Many of them are driven home because they can't afford it. This is not the time to leave a child behind, Education is the only enabler we can bequeath to these kids.
