@Founderwords@NIGELTEAPOT@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose I can see that. The fact is still that nobody can classify truth so therefore saying “truth is not relative” is also not valid to say from a philosophical perspective
@sanityswitch@NIGELTEAPOT@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose Yeah I have no problem with peoples’ opinions, just the reasoning they use to establish those opinions and the way they try and coerce people into agreeing with them. I would definitely say I lean towards pro choice, but that doesn’t mean I don’t understand both sides
@sanityswitch@NIGELTEAPOT@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose Definitely a lot of psychological factors in each case, and they are typically all different. A lot of people think that people just want to have sex and get abortions but it’s usually a traumatizing experience for everyone involved
@sanityswitch@NIGELTEAPOT@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose But I had never thought about pressuring a woman into an abortion and I def think that’s something that needs to be addressed, but yet again I feel like that’s someone else, though indirectly, making a choice for a woman about their body
@NIGELTEAPOT@Founderwords@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose I can’t have this conversation with you if you bring nothing to the table but straw man arguments and false equivocations. Also you’re a Twitter for a teapot asking me who my parents are, and also assuming I’m white because of an inch avi of me 20 ft away.
@sanityswitch@NIGELTEAPOT@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose I completely respect that. I personally believe it’s an ethical dilemma that should be a persons choice based on their beliefs. At the same time I understand that people who lean towards pro life won’t ever accept that, because in their opinion it’s murder
@NIGELTEAPOT@sanityswitch@Arkady2009 Lmao well first off, we are all part of the human race so I don’t quite understand what you mean. Yet again you’re drawing false equivocations and sensitive syntax to “prove” a point. But yes parents make the choice almost 100 percent of the time.
@Arkady2009@Founderwords@LilaGraceRose Pro choice does the same thing. People would rather have people agree with them no matter how they get them to agree, which typically means drawing false comparisons and manipulating the truth. Rather than presenting facts and opinions and letting people draw their own conclusion
@Founderwords@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose The problem also is people can’t understand that the other side sees it as murder of children so they are set of very easily as it’s touchy. The real problem is people like you who preach your opinion as fact for the dummies of the world who can’t draw their own conclusions
@Founderwords@Arkady2009@LilaGraceRose In B then u must believe in A. But if you want a more appropriate simile its more like the tyrants are the people, especially men, who make laws for other women’s bodies because of what they personally believe. The issue here is that you can apply your ethics to yourself only
