YouthPower today is attending Sphinx Virtuosi: For Justice and Piece. Sphinx Virtuosi is a chamber ensemble comprised of the nation’s top Black and Latinx classical string soloists.
Wow! What an incredible event. Today Sphinx Virtuosi performed contemporary works by Black British composer Philip Herbert, Venezuelan composer Aldemaro Romero, and African American composer Michael Abels, along with works by Franz Shubert and Béla Bartók. #BlackExcellence
