@Pete_Geller@mac_b5 And, like, really TINY booties. And they would take FOREVER to take off because sea star tube feet have mega suction and it’s hard to get them unstuck.
“Um, exCUSE us, Alice, but we have determined that it is nearly an entire minute past our decreed supper time and yet no food has appeared unto us. Please explain and/or rectify this grievous error immediately.” .

@tonichelleak They Might Be Giants. Actually any number of music genres and podcasts. I haven’t listened to anything while running dogs for years, though.
@FlightRiskMush Seriously though! I’m still digging out after the weekend snowstorm and we’re supposed to get another midweek. I legit don’t know what I’m going to do with it all.
@wildfierr Hard agree. I mean, obviously I’m biased because I work with sled dogs, but I wouldn’t *be* working with them if all the wild and twisted claims from detractors were accurate or representative of mushing.
@kellybandal@tonichelleak It looks like a very dark and surreal film that only tangentially features sled dogs. Which is basically the same vibe I got from a friend of mine who read one of the early scripts.
@kellybandal@tonichelleak Oh snap! I guess it actually did eventually get made!! The trailer doesn’t particularly appeal to me but I think it’s safe to say Willem Dafoe has a soft spot for roles involving sled dogs.
@kellybandal@tonichelleak You know what’s wild? Before being cast in Togo, Willem Dafoe was slated to star in a completely different(think psychological horror) movie that ALSO involved sled dogs. However production didn’t get off the ground in time due to budget issues.
