@DrAttai@stales Hello #BCSM! I think I have something that might be interesting for you. We've developed an application that gives personalized treatment information to patients. It works by connecting to the patient's EHR and using it as a reference to generate a personal report.
Before the coronavirus outbreak, our team had the good fortune of interviewing breast cancer patients, to collect user feedback. In this picture is Kris Snow. Her story with cancer is one of perseverance 💪, courage, and love. Thanks you, Kris, we are blessed by your support! ❤️
Meet Brian! @cadetflaherty is a top-notch software engineer with an unusual background in law! 🧐 Join us in this video as he tells us about his tastes in films, pets, social media, and more! 😄 https://t.co/MZw39mXiwM
Meet Jennifer (aka Dr. Griggs), our team’s patient communication specialist. In this video, she talks about her passion for communication, her rescue puppy: Daisy 🐶, and her love for caring about others ❤️ https://t.co/Uo1tMK8yOw
Meet Dr. Chen! 👨⚕️ Watch our new video in which Brian Chen talks about how his experience as a doctor and a patient led him to join Yerbba: https://t.co/qyuI5hhoR8
As you may know, we are hard at work preparing V2; designing, coding, writing content, setting up the databases... Our latest estimates put the launch date on Feb 1🤞 Will keep you updated! In the image is Brian Chen who will be the protagonist of next week’s post!
Team dinner! Yerbba got together to celebrate the holidays with a delicious hot pot. Our wish for 2020 (and for the new decade) is to become the most trusted source of medical information for patients, starting with breast cancer. A long way to go!
These pictures were taken on Oct 3, 2018, at Brian Chen’s home basement, which he generously offered as our first office space. We had a lot of fun there. We bought most of the furniture from local thrift stores, used the walls as drawing boards, and sported classy sandals 😎
Big shout-out to Alexa! Who recently presented a poster at a student exhibition about her internship at Yerbba. Alexa is a current MSI student at U-M. Originally from South Korea. Her input for Yerbba’s v2 was invaluable. Thanks for your great work and for spreading the word 🏆
Here is our latest #wireframe for the “Breast Cancer Overview” page!😎 We found users had trouble understanding their options and why these were relevant to them. So for Yerbba v2 we leveled and redistributed the info into new groups to convey the information more clearly!
Our development team in action! We love #javascript - its speed and versatility makes it perfect for small teams like ours. We use a combination of #reactjs for the UI and #meteorjs for quick development cycles. Many thanks to @cadetflaherty, our software architecture advisor!
Brainstorming V2 with the #WaltDisney Creative Strategy 💡Our design team follows a rigorous process to develop the best user experience possible. We've received some great feedback with user testing and are hard at work on the new design! #uiux#UserExperience
So what does Yerbba mean? 🤔 In archaic Spanish, yerba means grass. At Yerbba, we believe that medical information should be plentiful and accessible like hills of grass. Not just any grass: “good grass” or “yerba buena”. #madeatmichigan#yerbamate#mayalin#wavefield
