@LeedsCC_Help We will be pushing legal action once we have him sorted into assisted living. Is there someone in charge I can raise this with? As at the moment he's being dismissed & treated like vermin, not a blind man who is in desperate need of some compassion and help.

@LeedsCC_Help have been trying to get help for a unhoused man unable to see for over 10 days now & you're refusing to help as he doesn't have S21 when he was illegally evicted. It's shameful that even with hospital confirm that he cannot see you are REFUSING to house him/assist

@LeedsCC_Help ... As tbh they are down right rude, telling me my blind uncle has no option but to sleep rough if a S21 copy can't be produced. Not one person in that whole office has been remotely helpful & seems to have a disdain for the unhoused.

@LeedsCC_Help Yes, that is who we have been speaking to since 1st March and they are refusing to help without a S21 copy which we don't have as the landlord is refusing to give us a copy as he has done all this illegally & forged signatures. I don't want to speak with housing options again...

@BBCLookNorth I'm wondering if you can help get a story out re Leeds Council and Adult services refusing to help a homeless man who is unable to see & requires assisted living? We have exhausted all avenues with the council and they are refusing to help
