@AutoInfatuation They are quite epic. I’ve got a Range Rover Sport which I got cheap as a turbo had failed and a Discovery 4 that I’m rebuilding as the engine failed. Again picked it up cheap.

Add in a 3.6 TDV8 than I’d agree. But - I would still give a L322 a go.

@hjwakerley I’ve already got it. It’s been built how I want it, it has a 3.6 TDV8 in it and is the Discovery that Landrover should have built.

@AutoInfatuation I’d suggest you get it regassed (if you haven’t already). Low gas will cause it to do this. As will the TCV not working correctly.

@AutoInfatuation I think last time I went I filled it in before I travelled as it lasts a number of years anyway - but there were timescales which were relevant with my passport because the two are linked.

@LowBoomLowDrift Back in the 90’s we used to use a Cleanacres Airtech sprayer - regularly we would spray 20 L/Ha and get excellent coverage and results. We were also able to cut back on chemical rates. The system fell out of favour as the chemical companies wouldn’t approve the system for use.

@AutoInfatuation Sadly a lot of that going on. Trouble is people buy these luxury cars and think they can maintain and run them on ford Ka budgets….

@AutoInfatuation I’d have the XC90 - I’ve had two and they have been very uneventful for the mileage I did on them.

Out of choice I’d have the Discovery and I’d put a TDV8 in it to get rid of of the engine issues. Here’s the latest one I did over Christmas

@AutoInfatuation Yeah, I’m lucky. I have to drive to get to my job an then can do the job after that. This time of year is awful as I don’t have enough daylight really. I find it crazy that I can drive and work the hours that I do but my mate has to have a tacho card that limits him.
