Zelensky is still pushing his Starlink lie. On Saturday he gaslighted by announcing that Starlink and Starshield were back at full speed after more than a week of restrictions that disrupted Ukrainian drone operations. Starlink wasn’t restricted at all, Starshield was. Zelensky’s just blatantly lying about that and so is everyone else parroting his talking point. The issue was about Starshield. Zelensky keeps framing the episode as if Elon Musk and SpaceX were the villains who arbitrarily cut that service, while both Musk and the White House have made it clear that Musk didn’t limit anything. He can only limit Starlink, which he didn’t. Starshield is controlled by the U.S. Government.

Zelensky, the Democrats, and all the people against Trump and Musk are doing the same strategy with this as they do with everything else they gaslight about. They conflate terms to confuse people and then lie about what really happened to suit their narrative. Once you realize this then it’s easy to see what’s really going on. It’s just annoying to have to keep explaining it. But that’s part of their strategy, to make you waste your time calling out their gaslighting.

Zelensky’s Saturday statement treats the restoration of Starshield as a gift from America while ignoring why the restrictions existed in the first place. He thanks the United States and President Trump for getting the speeds back, but he doesn’t acknowledge that Ukrainian forces had been using the military Starshield network for offensive attack drones. That omission is one of Zelensky’s lies. He shifts the blame onto Musk for a system Musk doesn’t control, the U.S. does. And it was Ukraine that deserved the slowdown for misusing Starshield to begin with. Zelensky is lucky Starshield wasn’t shut down completely. It should’ve been.

I I honestly think Musk should sue Zelensky for defamation. Publicly accusing SpaceX of cutting off military communications, which SpaceX didn’t, without acknowledging that Ukraine was using Starshield for offensive operations and that the U.S. Government responded by limiting it isn’t diplomacy. It’s a deliberate effort to damage Musk’s reputation and pressure the United States into unlimited free military support. When a foreign leader keeps repeating that false version of events after the facts are public, the response should include legal consequences.

I’m sick of hearing about Ukraine even being allowed to use American products for their war. Zelensky misuses them to attack and then lies about what he did. Shut down both Starshield and Starlink in Ukraine until Zelensky agrees to peace.
