I want to play Elden Ring. But still need to play (and finish) Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Demon's Souls ๐ Got so many games in my backlog to get through.
Currently developing a prototype for a game that popped into my head and sounded like a fun game idea. It may or may not work but good programming and pixel art experience either way. ๐
Reading about how ScriptableObjects can be used for Pluggable AI, which sounds very interesting and something I can't wait to try out ๐ ๐

I drew mostly everything myself, to help with my Pixel Art. Also added a settings menu where you can change the speed of the game, adjust the gravity, or activate mirror mode.

So for the past few weeks I've been learning how Unity works again and been following some tutorials online, to hopefully start making projects again and build up my portfolio. I'm hoping I can keep this energy going and show constant updates of what I'll be working on.
It will probably start off slow, mainly because I have a full time job where I spend most of my life these days ๐ But hopefully I'll have something cool to show soon.
And since this is my first full game I'm making, art designs should really be the last thing on my mind right now, considering this is mainly for my Programming portfolio. ๐ ๐
Got a lot of ideas bouncing around in my head right now, but the main thing holding me back is the art designs (mostly coming up with character designs) and the fact I suck at drawing right now ๐ Which also sometimes makes me feel unmotivated, which is not great ๐
Right now my main focus is making a playable and fun game that I can use for my portfolio, and not have to worry too much about the art and animations. So, I will be looking at taking a different approach for now.
