You should also give us a prompt to paste into our own ChatGPT that asks it to answer this based on how we actually use it, what frustrates us, what we keep coming back for, and what would make it better day to day. Then ask people to post the response here.
That would probably get you more useful feedback than asking people to come up with an answer from scratch.
When I open ChatGPT, I want it to show me a personalized home screen instead of only a blank prompt.
It should include:
• ongoing projects I can resume with full context
• updates I’ve asked it to track
• reminders and unfinished tasks from prior conversations
• suggested next actions based on what I’m actively working on
• personal feeds I’ve created, such as technology news, job opportunities, or local events
I also want stronger continuity inside conversations. Stop making me repeat background information, re-explain preferences, or remind it what we decided earlier.
Give me clear controls for what it remembers, what it may proactively surface, and how often it contacts me.
In responses, I want less boilerplate, excessive caution, fake enthusiasm, repetition, and automatic follow-up questions. More direct answers, better judgment, and the ability to recognize when the task is already complete.
The joy would come from opening the app and finding something genuinely useful, interesting, or thoughtfully prepared for me—not from decorative animations or generic prompts.
This graphic is visually compelling and without asking more questions it looks scary.
Why just from 1980? What would 3 million years of data look like?
The climate is in constant flux. We’ve had warming and cooling well before humans. The ice age didn’t end by human impact.
What does 1c plus and minus even communicate in this chart? Ok it’s getting warmer…and this doesn’t support cause.
What does catatrophisong climate change do outside of giving governments more control. I have seen no indication of real solutions. “Do your part”. What part? What does that mean? If this was entirely driven by human created carbon, why are government buildings and politicians still operating with very little change in behavior?
I only see fear, no real solutions.
None of this is to say the climate isn’t changing or that humans don’t have impact. It’s just that when presented with charts and data you need to understand the slice of data it is using and the keyhole it is asking you to look through.
@jaywoof94@ShishirShelke1 Correct, kinda, unless Siri is regulated by the same type of middleman, which I assume Siri would be the middleman, then that’s a nonstarter.
Well I guess the ISS has just been cosplaying as a space station for 25 years
All that 100+ kW of heat from experiments and crew, magically disappearing in the vacuum with zero fans or conduction. Crazy how those giant deployable radiators and black-body radiation have been “impossible” this whole time 😂
SpaceX: “We’ll just do what every satellite since 1958 has done.”
Zac: “But my gaming PC tho”
@adrianjbroodryk@enjojoyy@tobiasjames_eth I’ve had /goal run for days. At first I thought it was going to create something amazing, but I figured out it was just chewing tokens one offing perceived issues and additions.
