E20 Janta Party: Our Demand Is Simple Give Citizens the Right to Buy 100% Pure Petrol
Date: 26 July 2026
E20 Janta Party is a citizen-led movement with one simple demand:
Every Indian should have the freedom to choose and purchase 100% petrol, alongside blended fuel options.
We are not asking for subsidies, free fuel, or the withdrawal of ethanol-blended fuels. We are asking for consumer choice.
Many vehicle owners have expressed concerns about fuel efficiency, engine compatibility, maintenance costs, and long-term performance. Whether these concerns apply in every case or not, consumers should have the option to decide which fuel best suits their vehicle.
Our Key Demands
Restore the option to purchase 100% petrol at fuel stations.
Ensure transparent fuel labeling so consumers know exactly what they are buying.
Publish clear and accessible data on the costs, benefits, and impacts of different fuel blends.
Conduct independent studies on mileage, engine performance, emissions, and maintenance costs, and make the findings public.
Allow citizens to make informed choices instead of limiting them to a single option.
Our Position
This is not a political movement. It is a consumer rights movement.
Consumers deserve transparency, informed choice, and accountability in fuel policy. Just as citizens have choices in many other products, they should have the freedom to choose the fuel they purchase.
One Demand. One Right.
Give India the choice to buy 100% pure petrol.

🚨 The Resident Doctors’ Association (RDA), AIIMS New Delhi, @AIIMSRDA has written to the Hon’ble President of India, expressing serious concern over reports and widely circulated visuals from the protests at Jantar Mantar.
The letter calls for:
• An independent, impartial, and time-bound inquiry into the events.
• Investigation into allegations of excessive use of force against peaceful protesters.
• Protection of citizens’ constitutional rights to peaceful assembly and free expression.
• Accountability wherever misconduct is established.
• Clarity regarding concerns raised about Sonam Wangchuk’s continued hospitalization and the protection of patient autonomy and medical ethics.
Peaceful democratic dissent should be met with restraint, transparency, and accountability and not unnecessary force.

IMPORTANT — please share widely.
Me along with some MPs are documenting video evidence of police brutality against peaceful protestors in Delhi yesterday during the Jantar Mantar protests.
The purpose is to identify the officials who assaulted protestors, so that legal action can be taken against them.
If you filmed any part of it, please send it. Videos where the assaulting officer’s face is clearly visible are especially valuable since it makes it easier to file complaints against them and hold them accountable.

We used to think such brutality comes from Islamabad or Dhaka - but now we are atmanirbhar! 💪🏽
These men were seen alongside Delhi Police during the protest and were allegedly assaulting students in full view of the media
- Who are these men seen assaulting students alongside Delhi Police?
- Are they BJP workers?
If they had no official role, why did the police allow them to attack protesters in front of the media?
