Successfully defended my dissertation this evening. They said that my defense was excellent. I am proud. My chair had very kind words and said she thinks I found an excellent topic to continue my research. #phdjourney #phdresearch #phdlife #phdstudent #phdone #PhD #phdone #edtech

I am working way too hard on this Meet The Teacher Flyer. Also, somehow got booted for my schools @canva team and all my projects are now gone. I am sad this evening because that is a lot of work gone... @CanvaEdu

[Dr. Frances @TechSavvy_Teach]

@FixingEducation Yep, and seen when disagreeing with administrators gets you blackballed from becoming one yourself... Gets you letters in your file... A purposely terrible class... Etc. All for retaliation purposes to prove you are nothing.

My friend, and Twitter LEGEND, @DietCoke_Esq has started a movement to help clear teachers' Amazon Classroom Wish lists

#ClearTheList

Let's see if we can expand it beyond #LawTwitter and maybe see if #MedTwitter #NurseTwitter #ScienceTwitter will help out too?

it is lacking substance and understanding. They really have gotten this wrong and missed the target. With the ever changing educational landscape, I am going to continue to write and share my thoughts. Would love to discuss this further IF expert teacher views matter..

This piece was inspired by a conversation with a dear friend. He encouraged me and keeps pushing me since June to put this out there. The #AFT had shared this piece in June, but with no one specializing in educational technology making these calls

@LoochSpaghetti @jake1moa @Albongo87 @TheMattViera We get 60% pension and it raises up 1.5% for every year we do over 30 years.

[Dr. Frances @TechSavvy_Teach]

@LoochSpaghetti @jake1moa @Albongo87 @TheMattViera No. NY does not give a 100% pension at all.

After this @BJsWholesale after promising to refund this stolen order has not refunded it. I contacted them on chat immediately when this happened. I have the chat log. 72 hours and they tell me they are still looking into it... I was promised a refund.

[Dr. Frances @TechSavvy_Teach]

Hey @BJsWholesale and @DoorDash @DoorDash_Help I just had my order #stolen by a #dasher! Almost $500 worth of #groceries with food I was cooking for dinner and milk to put my daughter down for a nap. She should be napping now and instead no one can help! This is disgusting.

[Dr. Frances @TechSavvy_Teach]

@BJsWholesale @DoorDash @DoorDash_Help This is still not resolved @BJsWholesale. It is unacceptable to take this long...

@BullishMorale @BJsWholesale @DoorDash @DoorDash_Help Now I am waiting on BJs to investigate. When I contacted their help chat it just told me just reorder.

[Dr. Frances @TechSavvy_Teach]

@BullishMorale @BJsWholesale @DoorDash @DoorDash_Help I'm so upset. I don't usually use same day delivery, we usually go pick it up but I'm not feeling well and they had free delivery if you got diapers so I took advantage only to have this happen. @DoorDash_Help said they cannot help due to it being a @BJsWholesale order.
