I’m currently on a 23-hour transit in Istanbul with about 19 other passengers, all flying with @TurkishAirlines we booked at @Wakanowdotcom We were told that because there are “alternative flights, from Riyadh” we’re not entitled to any meal support. But this doesn’t feel right. We booked what was available to us we didn’t choose a long layover by preference, and we certainly weren’t informed of any better options at the time of booking. Now we will be stucked at the airport for almost a full day, and food here is extremely expensive. What we can afford is barely enough for a small child, let alone adults expected to wait this long. It’s honestly disheartening. A journey like this should at least come with basic care, especially considering the duration. Please look into this matter. Day 4 of risking everything to build something bigger than myself. I worked on the pets page today and also started shaping part of the history page. It’s all still UI on Figma, nothing implemented yet, but it’s starting to look like an actual product.
