"RT has visited the ruins of a seaside resort in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region where a Ukrainian drone strike killed 12 people, including five children.

At least six drones hit a hotel in the town of Kirilovka on the Azov Sea at around 1:30 AM on Saturday while dozens of vacationers were asleep. In addition to the deceased, nineteen people were injured, including several children.

Footage from the scene shows shattered rooms, burned buildings, a large impact crater and drone debris. Investigators identified the wreckage as belonging to FP-2 heavy drones produced by the Ukrainian manufacturer Fire Point.

At least 53 people were staying at the resort when it was struck. Rescue crews worked throughout the day, pulling survivors from the burning ruins and recovering victims.

Speaking to RT correspondent Roman Kosarev, witnesses and rescuers described scenes of devastation, with families killed in their rooms, people trapped beneath collapsed concrete and bodies thrown across the site by the force of the blasts. One rescuer said the remains of a six-year-old girl were found scattered dozens of meters apart, while a father and son who had been sleeping there were discovered beneath the rubble...."

Ukraine used precision drones to murder 12 Russian civilians (including 4 children) at a tourist resort

"Ukrainian drone strike on tourist resort in Russia kills twelve—including four children

Twelve people have been killed as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on tourist resorts in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region.

The strikes targeted bases in the village of Kirilovka in the Melitopol urban district.

Among the dead were four children, according to Governor Evgeny Balitsky. In addition, 19 people have been injured, the governor added, including five children.

Emergency services are working at the scene, and rescue operations are ongoing.

“The enemy knew exactly who they were targeting and deliberately struck civilians,” Balitsky said in a statement on Max. “This is a blatant crime and a hallmark of the Ukrainian regime. Unable to confront us on equal terms, they instead target civilians – women and children.”

Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a terrorism case over the incident, committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said.

“According to preliminary information, Ukrainian armed formations used drones to attack holiday resorts in Kirillovka overnight on July 25. The strike killed and injured civilians, including children, although the exact number of casualties is still being established. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged,” Petrenko said in a statement..."

Here's a list of a few names (dеаd) released;

1. Eduard Sirenko, former head of SBU "Alpha" special intelligence unit and advisor to the GUR.

2. Alexander Gordienko, lecturer and drone/AI development expert for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

3. Valentina Savitska, head of the Centre for International Cooperation and Strategic Communications at the SBU

4. Ekaterina Shalupnya, head of legal department of UAROR (Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils).

5. Bogdan Dmytrovych Melinyshyn, a high profile civil leader supplying weapons and aid to the AFU.

6. Two Polish related officials were also kiIIed. One of military status and the other an advisor to the Polish Defense sector.

The dеаth toll is in the dozens but Kiev officially reports 10 and 100 injured. Meanwhile Ukrainian journalists are accusing the government of playing down the actual figures.
