I think I need to go lie down…
We taught an AI some Figma designs of a documentation site. It can now generate similar sites using my own custom components on ANY topic I want, ALL within Figma
I can also click on any frame and request updates 🤯
@Katurebe99@magicpatterns hey thank you for this! Curious how you would describe the value you got in your words? always to helpful to hear in our customers words

opus 5.5 is pretty insane at explainer videos.
it's basically like a personalized khan academy video on any concept you want.
here's one about how LLMs work:
a jev lint rule that detects if a new component is a potential duplicate of an existing file.
this check takes less than a second + costs less than $0.01 (for our codebase at least)
jev makes it feel actually reasonable to run these checks on every code change.
Jev doesn't do anything you can't do with an open-source model/cheap model with tool calling.
Where it shines though is how insanely fast/cheap it is. It's starting to prod at the question of: "what can we design/build if LLMs were instant"
@ridd_design a lot of unnecessary details being added these days in general, reallyyyy feels like the latest models were RL’ed to oblivion.
We have an active line of work trying to reverse this!
Watch how @ToastTab cut prototype prep from weeks to days with Magic Patterns
The team already knew the restaurant experiences they wanted to test. The bottleneck was turning those ideas into realistic prototypes that looked like Toast and could hold up in customer research.
Magic Patterns "tremendously changes the way we design for restaurant and retail operators,” Aditi Thota, a Principal Product Designer, says.
