Box 1158 70101 Kuopio Finland 🇫🇮 Dear Sir/Madam, RE: URGENT REQUEST FOR THE FULL WRITTEN JUDGMENT DATED 15 OCTOBER 2026 IN THE CASE CONCERNING SIMON EKPA, INCLUDING AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION ( RELEASE OF CLASSIFIED ) 1. We thank the APPEAL COURT IN FINLAND for listening to us on this matter especially on the RED FLAG LAWS that we still maintain were violated. We are happy with the reduction of sentence because Finaland (Prosecution) failed to see that Biafra was seeking independence. 2. We therefore write on behalf of Pan African Forum Ltd & Associates, representing a public-interest perspective in matters concerning international law, human rights and access to justice, to formally request a complete copy of the written judgment that you have delivered today 15 October 2026 in the case concerning Finland Vs Simon Ekpa, together with an English translation. 3. We seek to obtain this full judgment, including the Court’s findings, legal reasoning, interpretation of the applicable law and final orders, that reduced the sentence from 6 years to 4 years . 4. This will enable us to study the decision thoroughly and assess the appropriate avenues for any further legal action, irrespective of the outcome. 5. This case raised important questions concerning fundamental rights, freedom of expression, the right to a fair trial and the application of European and international legal standards. 6. We believe that the proceedings warrant careful examination, particularly in relation to alleged violations of applicable legal safeguards and potential infringements of Simon Ekpa’s fundamental rights. 7. Our intention is to examine the judgment objectively and, where legally appropriate, pursue further action through the relevant legal and institutional mechanisms. 8. We also intend to develop a legal case study that may contribute to future discussions on human rights, self-determination and the protection of individuals engaged in political advocacy. 9. URGENT REQUEST IN VIEW OF THE APPLICABLE THREE-MONTH TIME LIMIT We are concerned about the applicable three-month time limit for any potential further proceedings. Timely access to the complete judgment is therefore essential to enable us to examine the full Court’s findings, obtain appropriate legal advice and prepare any necessary action within the prescribed period. 10.
