Had a great time serving as a judge at the 6th Annual Battle of the Badges 911 Chili Cook-off in El Dorado County. First responders definitely brought the heat with bold flavors, secret ingredients, and serious competition! A fun and delicious event benefitting Snowline Health.
Thanks to @PacificResearch for inviting me to their CA Ideas in Action Conference. I served on a panel about CA’s insurance challenges & wildfires. Had a great convo w/Rex Frazier with Personal Insurance Federation, Steve Maviglio with Forza Communications & PRI’s Steve Greenhut.
As an avid skier, my heart is heavy hearing about the lives lost in the Tahoe avalanche. Praying for the families and loved ones grieving such an unimaginable loss. The skiing community holds you close in our thoughts. https://t.co/a432PZ1a2k
It was my honor to represent CA this week at the National Gathering for Prayer & Repentance at the Museum of the Bible in DC. I joined other elected officials and evangelical leaders to ask the Lord to heal our nation in this 250th anniversary year of its founding.
Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader whose courage and vision continue to inspire equality and peace. Let’s reflect on his words and work toward a world where all are truly judged by the content of their character.
Saddened by the passing of Congressman LaMalfa. We served together, but also shared a friendship built on mutual respect & commitment to conservative values. Doug cared deeply about our country & the rural constituents he represented. Prayers are with his family, friends & staff.
As we celebrate Christmas, I hope your home is blessed w/peace, joy & the love of family & friends. My favorite part is reflecting on the birth of our Savior & all the blessings he has bestowed on us. On behalf of the Gaines family, I wish you a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
