Someone on £80,000 is already paying £25,000 a year in tax.
Corbyn wants them to pay £78,000 in tax.
So their take home pay would be £2,000 p/a.
Am I the only one who thinks this might not work?!
It was worth crowdfunding @The_Corres for this article alone

@JMJimmy1@jen_keesmaat @TheWarOnCars @PaulWellman_ Have you ever worked for a design firm or developer? I can assure you they think these things through... and if they miss something the planning department will pick it up.
And again - we're making all these judgements off a CGI and one plan - not the detailed proposal
Yes!
More of this sort of thing!
Just listened to @jen_keesmaat podcast on Open Streets - paves the way (no pun intended) for more permanent interventions like this

Camden Council proposing to turn a road near Goodge Street station, parallel to Tottenham Court Road in to a park. Great idea 👍 https://t.co/O3qkjxAv31
@NathanNWE@jen_keesmaat @TheWarOnCars Anything worth doing is difficult!
Even if not parks, I think greening of streets is a positive move. I'd love to know what the unforeseen consequences will be though, and how we are pilloried by future generations as we criticise those who prioritised cars!

Just in case you needed a reminder of all the LIFE you can fit into cities when you rethink streets for cars. Space for green & nature that supports great urbanism, and space for PEOPLE!

Always better to treat the cause, not the symptoms...
Was going to recommend @parkrunUK set up a race as this is exactly aligned with their mission... of course, they're already one step ahead of me!

Remember reading about an able-bodied architecture student who used a wheelchair for a week to learn how to design for users - could schools have a day of that to make kids more considerate in future?
Another design-related issue - surely this process could be made easier?!
Sometimes people wonder how I get in/out the car, get my wheelchair in & then drive when I am paralysed from the chest down.
Lightweight wheelchairs, car adaptions etc give independence back 😁(people parking in disabled bays with no blue badge often remove this independence)😱
