@colmandomingo Hi Colman, saw Michael earlier... Excellent performances from yourself and the rest of the cast throughout.
So looking forward to part 2 when it happens. π π π π π
So much praise for these two this year...
A truly excellent "acting" partnership! π
It's difficult enough as it is for actors to secure regular work in the industry, without hoards of viewers campaigning for them to lose their jobs!

@emmerdale
23rd APRIL 1981...
Matt Skilbeck's dog, Snip, is killed by a speeding car, driven by the wanted village burglar.
Surprising how many long-time viewers are unaware that this week was not the first time Emmerdale has seen a dog run over & killed in the story.
@emmerdale@ITV Hull Daily Mail... September 1984...
Emmerdale crew criticised for "fictional" dog cruelty...
Shame some viewers weren't informed that it was only fictional 40 years ago... they wouldn't have bred generations of stupid complainers! π€£

@putthetellyon π€£ Of course it's not going to be the same as it was in 1960... The world has moved on... Coronation Street is "currently" set in the 2020s, like the rest of the world... hence more growing contemporary issues portrayed, such as social media & internet-related business.
@emmerdale Some viewers are strange.
I mean surely it's obvious that no animals actually come to any harm in storylines like this?
How these people are functional human beings when they clearly can't tell the difference between fiction & reality is beyond me!!!
@emmerdale I find all these "get rid" comments directed towards James, who plays Tom, very disturbing.
He plays his part excellently, and it's difficult enough as it is for actors to secure regular work in the industry, without idiots campaigning for them to lose their jobs mid-contract!!!
