@ShoeboxStadium For all the problems the 1992 Mets had - that team competed until the end of July. The 2026 Mets much more resemble the 1993 Mets team than they do the '92 one. But I see your point. LOL
@NYNJHarper Now I don’t know what to think on where Lindor stands or what he’s thinking … we’ve been told for over a year that Lindor wanted all the Trump supporters off the team and now he’s talking like Trump telling his teammates to “fight, fight, fight…” LOL 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@anniefreyshow All you Cardinal fans had to do to respond to Gary was simply repost the 2006 NLCS Game 7 of Carlos Beltran standing at home plate with the bat on his shoulders to end the game....yes it was 20 years ago and no we're not over it... LOL ... President Trump was there too
@NameThatMet I can still remember being a kid in December 1991 and being so excited we lured Bobby Bonilla and signed him to the big contract. I thought for sure we were going to win it all in 1992!!! Still waiting for the championship....
@NHLPR@BlueJacketsNHL@NYIslanders NHL has a MAJOR problem with being consistent in any calls they make .... this goes back to long before even the Brett Hull foot in crease Stanley Cup winning goal. Between the inconsistencies in calls & awarding teams points in the standings WHEN THEY LOSE in OT it's a joke.
@RealIslesICENET@sderstrm_tommy Isles season was collapsing by this game in 1995...a few weeks later Maloney did the unthinkable and traded away 25 year old Turgeon for nothing... The only team Soderstrom played well against was the Rangers ... lol...Hextall went back to the Flyers and went to Conference finals
@ChrisBottaNHL Chris why did the Isles bail on Dubie after '08 only to rotate one backup after another in the following seasons when they could've just kept him as a backup? I never understood that - I always wondered if DP was jealous of him because Dubie was so lovable & helped push him out.
@NjTank99 Smiling and don't forget also dancing! Oh and the topper - hugging opposing players while on the field during the game - that's my favorite...especially when it's Manny Machado in a playoff game (like in 2022) when they are losing.
@JonHeyman@NYPost_Mets Bigger problem for McNeil is … He SUCKS ! Lindor and Soto need to stop dancing in the dug out and just win ! And the Mets needs pitching… Win the World Series and all these “problems” are buried… but McNeil still sucks.
@AlanFuehring@NYIslanders@NYRangers Was tonight’s trivia question who was only goaltender to record shutouts for the islanders and rangers ? Or who was only goaltender to record shutouts against the islanders and rangers ?
@SNYtv We'll never see anything like this ever again. One of the most refreshing things about watching that clip and final inning is Vin Scully letting the moment speak for itself. No over analyzing of what we all just witnessed, just letting it all play out. Just an incredible game.
@ChrisBottaNHL The team already looks so much more exciting than they’ve been the last few seasons … the radio broadcast in my opinion also sounds great !
@NYMhistory What a team, what a game ! Todays Mets 9th inning would see McNeil hit a weak pop up, Alonso hit a long fly out to left field and Vientos or Alvarez strike out. Then they’d all smile and dance in the dugout afterwards and celebrate the fact that Soto stole 30 bases!
