@TsuDhoNim @CahairOKane1 Agree gents, looking at other disciplinary processes in society (criminal, HR), they all have appeal mechanisms based on procedural errors in the investigation process. For an amateur sport its frustrating.

@Mike1745343 @CahairOKane1 @FindInsuranceNI I bet they are happier, they’ve been at it since the previous Oct/Nov with S&C plans etc plus they can go to the States with an earlier championship finish. Cut out the nonsense rounds at the start of the All-Ire series in football and an Aug final and that solves alot

@paulmaughan4 @CahairOKane1 @FindInsuranceNI Starting in April has made a farce of Div 1 league with teams actively avoiding the league final, why? Because to rush the season championship has to start earlier.

Every second year our quarters & semis battle for publicity with World Cup & Euros latter stages. 30 counties can start club champ in July if they want, they blame inter county but exodus to the US by players is the issue.

@CahairOKane1 @FindInsuranceNI The condensed nature of the championship doesnt give fans time to breathe and teams need more of a window to recover physically and mentally particularly in the group stages of All Ire series. Two teams will play in August allowing every other county start their championship.

Some good things happened on Amorim’s watch like players with bad attitudes leaving but his football wasn’t good enough. United would have limped to a 6th-8th placed finish and it’d have been similar next season. #MUFC

@Gerry_Flan93 Speaking to underage coaches they get a lot of grief from parents of players which is the biggest off-put for them, parents crying foul if their Johnny/Jodie isn’t starting. A culture of entitlement has emerged, entitled to get everything and entitled to contribute nothing.

@cormacpro @PaddyLongback On C & D teams, I’d put them in Junior and one solution to your concern could be that Mitchels/Westport etc can only have 1 team in Senior & 1 in Intermediate so if a C team won Junior the exclusive Jnr team they beat is promoted. Rest assured Mitchels C would not win Junior!

@cormacpro The Junior B championship for Westport/Cmorris etc was ran during the Leaving Cert so that shows how its a token gesture. All players need meaningful football and need to be in proper championships.

@cormacpro Certainly not an after thought Cormac, Im from Kilfian so Ive seen both sides. The best Junior players deserve to play Intermediate football like what happens in Kerry & Cork, it’d give them a pathway to county panels etc.

@cormacpro I agree with the Westport motion Cormac, only 2-3 from Mitchels/Westport/Cmorris Minor teams each year are still playing 2-3 years later as its so difficult to make an adult 1st team. 2nd & 3rd teams need meaningful championship comps so lads will commit. Huge attrition
