.NET 8 brought a lot of improvements to Blazor, but regrettably it also breaks Blazor component rendering in #Optimizely CMS 12.
I came up with a reasonable (I think) workaround until Optimizely addresses the core issue: https://t.co/H6AzwdnhGP
The Google Maps editor for #Optimizely has been updated to address an issue where the map marker wouldn't be displayed.
Version 4.0.0.3 is available on Optimizely's NuGet feed: https://t.co/A7JAQUZWQl
The source code is available on GitHub: https://t.co/EnTFhGzXXR
@aruninnice Increased dev complexity driving costs without significant upsides to site visitors or web editors. Worse web editor experience (for CMS use cases) where things like WYSIWYG and live previewing are either 1) worse and/or 2) way more costly to implement.
Microsoft has released Dev Tunnels in Visual Studio, a reverse proxy for making local resources accessible over the internet: https://t.co/VFzjPfOEXv #visualstudio#dotnet
#Optimizely pet peeve: "Edit page" button ends up covering parts of the site navigation. Finally got around to moving it to the side - while maintaining correct orientation of the Optimizely logo. 🤓
The most recent version of #Optimizely includes a breaking change in BlockDataConverter, which affects Adaptive Images (especially IList<T> properties). A fix is currently underway and a new version will be published soon.
@deane_barker @firstdrafthell I looked out the window. Pitch black, near freezing, and wet snow. Oh, and the wind is picking up. Remind me in April? #sweden#november
I haven't been this excited about console app development since I learned QBasic in the early 90's - thanks to Spectre.Console! Thank you @firstdrafthell for an amazing job! 🙌https://t.co/dK4lklaUJu
@housecor I prefer prototyping -> tests -> actual implementation. I haven't found a better approach than TDD for smoking out what I actually *do* want in an API. 🤷

Posted examples of custom rendering of image properties, including arbitrary number of breakpoints, for responsive images in #optimizely using Adaptive Images: https://t.co/4L0cMYBCsv
Adaptive Images for #Optimizely now supports Cloudflare image resizing in DXP - and it only takes a single line of code to enable it. 👍 https://t.co/3zy9ior0Cb
The Google Maps editor for #Optimizely will soon get an update to fix known issues, and will once again be published as open-source under MIT license on GitHub.
