Simple. He never spent above his means.

+ He has a very supportive wife. Something young people cannot boast of.

We never stayed in a house that my dads one month salary can’t pay per annum. When his salary was 80k. Our 3 bed annual rent at emiloju house was 60k.

Exactly twenty years ago, I was hopeless. I had just failed JAMB after my third try. I was sitting on this tattered chair in the small bedroom I shared with my five younger siblings. Here, I decided I was going to go after my dreams of studying in America. #nigeria #usa

@serenecakes @fbi_initials Damn! The standard is gradually declining.

Back then, a circular would be sent and pasted across all hostels before any power outage

@Blaq_ebony @fbi_initials @DapoEko_ Like! You could walk at anytime of the night and not be scared irrespective of your gender.

Throughout my 4 years on campus and not even a whisper of a cult group.

@fbi_initials My Alma-mata! That school would give you some crazy confidence mehn! That greatest Ife chant was just the boost you need to face anybody 😁.

Especially if you stayed in Awo-hall like me! Confidence Pro-max!

@IgbalodeAkewi @omosalewasmiles Randomly?? Haaa! I fear you ooo.

It's my mum's hometown meal and she would rather buy than prepare it.

But then, you are a chef....So 😁🤷🏽‍♂️

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@omosalewasmiles Honestly! Making that meal is stressful. I can count the number of times my mum prepared it herself for us while growing up cos it's her hometown meal, she would rather just buy from those that sell.

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@SamzyVG You just want to have hot takes over nothing and blow things out of proportion because there's absolutely nothing wrong with his message except you expect him to deny the incumbent Governor from the church. 🤷🏽‍♂️

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@NdukaEbubeDike Well planned heist! Initially felt I was reading a novel 😂😂😂.

Things dey occur 😂

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@braun_skeen Ekuru!! 😩😩😂😂

I can count the number of times my mum prepared it while growing up (not up to 5 times), the stress ehn! 😩

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@lekan_olayinka1 😂😂😂 Sports complex anytime of the day, you will definitely see people praying their hearts out. I definitely miss OAU.

It's the Mikano generator reference for me 😂😂

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@louuue @The_Africanist I honestly don't understand why people do that. Just for likes and retweets, they just give so-called "hot takes"after watching few seconds videos and jump to conclusions.🤦

[Yinka Ogunnubi @yinkanubi]

I feel the need to address a broadcast message that has been floating around WhatsApp about my daughter Tomisin Ogunnubi. The story has a lot of inaccuracies that needs to be corrected. The story conflates many facts and presents a picture that is completely inaccurate.

The usual go to would be Job, Uriah or the man God killed for pulling out.

But one story that still kills me is Jonah’s story.

Walk with me

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@PureMinD__ Shomolu is worse! My former area at Pedro, they have sold almost all the houses in that axis to developers who are mostly igbos. My former apartment was sold for 40 million. Later they would start blaming igbos for their greed.

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@UnkleAyo 😂😂😂😂I initially thought this was some part of history I never learnt 😂

[I_am_Shobs @Tee_Official1]

@a__vanita The annoying thing for me was the fact that she mentioned that her husband is an open book and she knows everything about his finance, so she definitely knew he didn't get a trust fund like she did. So all the shalaye was just for her not to look bad. She goofed big time.

@layiwasabi Cry me a River state 😩😩😂😂😂

In the end, when all the stars we bring up align, we will tell all, those who made them shine ✨

Thank you @OctaFX
