@zbpipe @brockueducation I taught kindergarten in a Montessori school. Students called me Angela. I switched to public school. Had many of the same students again. They called me Angela. They got disciplined from admin for calling me Angela.admin refused to allow this.

As we head into the finale, I pray we all know our value. We did it. It was messy. Somedays we even faked our own, courage, confidence and smiles. But we did it. I’m proud of you!

Those of you who know me, know I am full of wonderings. Today I was wondering why custodians are not in grad photos. We often hear that custodians are the number one go to for students, yet, we don’t honour them in the photos of the students lives. Why?

I have been enlightened by yet another brilliant term. I have been studying and thoroughly engaged on how we move students who have trauma from PTSD to Post Traumatic Growth. I am pleased to be beginning to understand yet another step. Post Traumatic Wisdom.

I have taught some puzzling students in my career. I find pleasure in the puzzle. I have been digging into neuroplasticity, retraining the brain, and post traumatic growth. Trauma can be followed by hope, challenges are opportunities, teacher is a forever learning journey.
