Do you play the right ball to reflect your playing handicap / level? Or is ball type purely what you like best, and therefore irrelevant to HC?
Personally I’ve not tested enough balls to know, and I float between TaylorMade, Titleist.

Is this one of the most frustrating things in golf? It always seems to happen directly after a good shot!
So, should this be a free drop? Or simply accepted as fair game?

150 balls on the range today. Felt like a great session.
3w x 20
PW x 10
Dr x 20
3h x 25
6i x 15
Dr x 20
3w x 20
SW x 10
3h x 10
Then spent time putting from 8, 6, 4 and 2 feet with a gate half way between ball and target to check my path from club face.
How do you practice?
Had 250 balls on the range today over 2 sessions AM / PM 🥴
What’s wrong with this?
▪️Way too many repetitive shots
▪️Forcing a fix
▪️Inconsistent results
▪️Huge uncertainty on the tee tomorrow.

Does your club use something like this to show pin positions?
These are such a great idea on tee boxes to quickly identify where the pin is located.

Are putting mats a good winter practice or do they hamper play?
Recently someone told me to stop using my putting mat due to the speed being more aligned to summer feel greens. Got me thinking if this was hurting my winter play mis-reading pace now greens are slowing?
Thoughts?
Spending money on lessons is vital knowledge, but what do you do with that information?
Do you ensure you implement it, or do you forget it and revert back to type?
Do you make notes? sketches, or keep a log?
I keep a log personally.

A mallet is statistically better for most golfers. Data shows mid-HC using a mallet average fewer 3-putts / round (2.3 compared to 2.6) and have a much higher success % from 6 feet and in (82% compared to 75%) than those using a blade.
I recently switched, What do you use?
#Putt
Are brands like #ATSG and #Druids good for golf?
Are these brands killing pro shops? Or are they adding much needed value for money?
Golf pants for £20 from both brands. We loved the #Druid ones in honesty.
What is for certain is pro shops need supporting.
