When fear grips your heart,
And loneliness fills your mind,
And you have no where to turn;
Look for Jesus. He is the answer to your fear,
The answer to all of your pain,
The Hope that you seek, for every problem & need.
Seek out Jesus and He will set you free.
Seek out Jesus!!
I'm very tired right now, but I need to say this with a very heavy heart.
Earlier today, I read a report containing the names of all 136 Nigerian prison inmates involved in the Nigerian-Ethiopian Prisoner Transfer Agreement facilitated by the Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ma'am Bianca Ojukwu, and every single one of them is Igbo. I mean, every single one of them.
Is it just me, or is this extremely alarming? Does it mean that Igbos are the only Nigerians in Ethiopia?
Does it mean it is only Igbos that were in Ethiopian prisons? Were there no Yorubas, Hausas, Ijaws, Tivs, Efiks, Ibibios or people from other parts of Nigeria there?
How did we end up making up the entire list? What exactly are our young people doing in Ethiopia in such numbers that 136 names returned and all of them are from one ethnic group?
What does this say about us as a people? What are we not talking about? And why are we not having this difficult conversation in AlaIgbo?
@TheYorubaTimes Coming to southwest was the best thing that happens to most Ibo people, they escaped a lot of calamities from their land. Majority of them never wished to go back to what hunts them , but they wish to destroy the place that gave them safe haven. Madness moves around with them
@thefireofOla Happy birthday, Madam CEO.
A woman with a caring heart.
God in His infinite mercies will continue to bless you with long life, good health and the desires of your heart.
Igba odun, odun kan lase educate.
"Burn down Lagos."
"Burn down police stations."
"Kill any policeman you see."
"Go and get a gun to kill."
"Get 2,000 human heads for the burial of IPOB leader"
These are some of Nnamdi Kanu's words in 2020.
And suddenly, critical infrastructure started going up in flames across Lagos. One of the most painful losses was the destruction of numerous BRT buses built with public funds.
But Pitobi said this same Nnamdi Kanu was merely speaking on radio and should not have been arrested, tried and jailed.
Thank God Nigeria escaped this Sympathizer and Supporter of Terrorism in 2023.
Banter from my friend @Olusegunverdict an ardent Arsenal fan @theplatformng on Friday.
We differ in opinion but still remain cordial. Lessons on democracy.
So @PeterObi did not see anything wrong with the crime committed by Nnamdi Kanu.
2: He should read the full court judgement first.
3: Therefore, it is clear that @PeterObi supported NK and by extension, terrorism.
4: what @PeterObi should do is to hire new lawyers to appeal Judgment. Instead of showing contempt against our Court.
5: it shows that @PeterObi does not respect judiciary at all.
6: Police, security services, military lost their officers and men via NK’s directives. It is unfortunate
Farewell, Professor Kola Oyewo
Farewell, Oba Lapite
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Kola Oyewo—scholar, actor, teacher, cultural ambassador, and dear colleague.
I had the privilege of working with him on Koseegbe, Oleku and Saworoide where he gave a memorable performance as Oba Lapite. His portrayal brought depth, dignity, and humanity to the role, making the character one of the film’s most enduring figures.
Ironically, Lapite’s death in the story created a challenge for me as a filmmaker. Once he was publicly executed by Lagata, I could not bring Kola Oyewo back into the narrative. I missed him then.
Today, I miss him again.
Kola Oyewo belonged to a rare generation that successfully bridged scholarship and performance. He inspired countless students, actors, and audiences through his talent, humility, and lifelong commitment to learning, culture, theatre and film.
Nigeria has lost a remarkable artist.
Farewell, Professor Kola Oyewo.
Farewell, Oba Lapite.
Your legacy will endure in the stories you told and the lives you touched.

For the first time on such a scale in Nigeria, hundreds of Nigerian Army personnel, widows of fallen heroes, and injured soldiers are set to benefit from a massive 1,550-unit post-service housing scheme taking shape in Jibi along the Abuja-Niger State boundary.
According to the Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority, the estate is the largest military post-service housing scheme ever undertaken in Nigeria, reflecting the FG’s commitment to improving the welfare of soldiers and their families.
@MasterBolaji@Teetops14 Bolaji, as much as this is a very welcome development, unless it’s gazetted into law, we must call it what it is - illegal.
Ori bi’be ko ni ogun ef’ori.
We need to do things properly rather than in haste.
Yiyo ekun, ki’i se bi ti ojo.
@abdullahayofel The man calmly took him to the drycleaners. They are always loud in their ignorance, they want us to entrust Nigeria to someone who can't even solve the crisis in his political party.
