India has failed it’s own people. This mass exodus happening at such a critical time in this pandemic will creat more complications .

I really wish Modi had ordered this lockdown 2 weeks earlier.This would have given the govt sometime to think about logistics 4 the working class before halting every mode of transport and income for them. Walking carrying their children on their shoulders is just heartbreaking

Special aircrafts were sent to get Indians living abroad, even China back home . The poor, who are working in cities on a daily wage or basic salaries can’t afford to live there anymore and are walking back home to their villages.
