Nutritionist | Researcher | Bilingual Poet | Curator: Triya a space for haikai forms, Editorial Board: MatruAkshar, an International Journal of Indian Languages
‘Blame it on Amygdala’ makes it to the Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English. I am not an avid haibuner but this is one of my early writings as a dietetic intern at AIIMS. Later when I learnt that #haibun is nothing but a metamorphosed diary entry, I attempted this as a haibun.
This is the third time in succession for me and very very special as my daughter, Ustat’s work finds a home in this stellar collection! In all humility I thank the editors, Sukrita and @vinita65, the review panel, @HawakalP and the journals that first published our pieces.
Not long to go before the Spring issue of Wales Haiku Journal is here...
Until then, sharing another favourite #poem from the last issue, this one by Claire Ninham 😍.
