@RichardAngwin@Keir_Starmer Should have happened years ago when successive governments took an axe to the coal mining industry, no phased withdrawal, just head first in to the mess of renewables
@GameSetVolley@lordsidcup@arobinson1984@UKLabour Most rental will end up being owned by the likes of Blackrock, who will eventually end up controlling the market, all ready for the slaves of the future.
@lordsidcup@GameSetVolley@arobinson1984@UKLabour People like you paving the way for the large corporations all because of your jealousy, they certainly won't do it for nothing and will eventually control the market. You seem to forget the number of councils and housing associations that fail to properly maintain property.
@Centre4291@EdmundAvalon@antoniabance Todays renters will become tomorrow's slaves and the government won't have the clout to take on the big corps, they'll have the ability to set market prices and even crash it if they want.
@EdmundAvalon@antoniabance Turkeys voting for Christmas!
Some hate the little guy for wanting a return on their investment, do they think the big Corps do it for free? Biggest offenders for not keeping property in decent order are councils and Housing associations.
Jealousy from the anti-landlord gang.
@jdpoc You're just another one of Milibands gaslighting victims, look at the facts, re France, mainly nuclear and nowhere near as many renewables as the UK, yet their prices are less than half ours. The reason we pay so much is tax/subsidies on our bills.
@Ed_Miliband The system is so broke that now you've got people in hard to heat homes being offered heat pumps and solar rather than external wall insulation which would make far more sense. A total waste of taxpayers money.
@Ed_Miliband We've subsidised all the green bollox through our bills and now you want us to pay towards a discount for six million households. Why not just get rid of subsidies and everyone will be better off.
