Works included installation of traffic calming measures, carriageway & footway surfacing, along with kerbing, drainage, signage, and road markings.

As part of a package of crossings being installed throughout Oakengates, we have completed our first crossing on Canongate.

A new crossing has been installed, along with widening the footway to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

We previously carried out some Reclamite Rejuvenation works along Queen Elizabeth Avenue and Halesfield 10. This innovation will preserve the existing carriageway for another 5 years.

It's that time of year where our dual carriageway maintenance works take place around the borough.
Some of our main focuses are: carriageway repairs, barrier repairs, street lighting, gully cleaning, road sweeping, litter picking, sign cleaning, hedge cutting and tree felling.
