@drainandlag@Heralya1 He existed as a part of lore, as reason, as worldbuilding, not as a distinct character in a world. They expanded and brought him back instead of leaving him a distant curse over the Shadow Isles. I wish they used Yorick more but at least he now has an actual target, I suppose
@peronyawns depends on how well Nami is going to ragebait Croc. While powerwise Nami counters him (as long as he doesn't expect it), she's not a fighter, while he is. "Water" that, "haki" this, Croc's weakness is ragebait. Luffy ragebaited the guy into opening for a strike thrice
@spamofthemic@bonevoid where the fuck did you pull the "supports are better at learning" when the whole point, even in your question, is that support ROLE has less ways to learn and so if a support PLAYER switches to a ROLE with more ways to learn, they will learn another ROLE faster than support ROLE.
@drainandlag@Heralya1 Or maybe Riot should not have fired all the writers. It's not the first time they show that "cool character" comes before the lore. The last good rewrite I can think of was Viego and it's only good because the Ruined King didn't exist as a character before.
@melloooowww_@A_Guy_0751@YozuLoL Tryndamere would be a better example since Trynd can ult while CCed, or Warwick with delayed fear, or Rengar, etc. Olaf's whole schtick is ignoring CC, yet he's not the most oppressive of the bunch
@R31W1NG@WhatleyLeague Everyone has seen a Soraka that singlehandedly ensured every teamfight or Leona that dove under turrets constantly and came back victorius every time. And everyone has seen a braindead supp going in, or an adc with no cs, example of any other role, etc.
@R31W1NG@WhatleyLeague There's definitely not enough reinforcement. What you mentioned is mostly personal responsibilities of different roles, but I'm sure that you'll feel an impact of a good support, as any other role, before you notice a bad support, unless you're laning with one
@WhatleyLeague While it makes sense, I think people in the replies are coming to the wrong conclusions, using actual exploration of possible reasons behind rooted beliefs as a reinforcement of their pre-established positions and hatred for other players. As usual :/
@96_1e@SlayerKaraka_@Bad_____bunny99 "caught off guard"
Kid got read through the future and interrupted mid-technique. It's a skill issue, no doubt, his haki was no match. Zoro's not even close to this level, too
@96_1e@SlayerKaraka_@Bad_____bunny99 Kid got oneshot by an Emperor. Luffy lost to Kaido numerous times and only perceiveired through luck (sub, free food, etc.). Kid was no-diffed by one of the strongest people on the seas, not his underlings
@96_1e@SlayerKaraka_@Bad_____bunny99 And Kid is a supermagnet, so? It's not like Kid cares how much his mechanisms get cut, he molds metal together like clay. I'm not denying that Zoro's strong, he's not a captain though and for a damn good reason
@ssolarism "I'm so fucking stupid, why did I do that, I know better than that" me goin 3/0 and wasting flash while there's a literal D-Day happening to my duo on botlane
@96_1e@SlayerKaraka_@Bad_____bunny99 As if Kid and Law didn't force another invincible emperor to shorten her own lifespan to reinvigorate. Kid literally has awakened fruit techniques and Zoro isn't a very advanced haki user in comparison to the trio of captains
@96_1e@SlayerKaraka_@Bad_____bunny99 I don't think Zoro would destroy Kid as easily, Zoro is strong but he's way below Luffy, not even mentioning Shanks. But it would be an interesting fight, gotta give you that
