@Zeke_Yeagerist@Vhoyde OP was mocking the article's fake narrative about nationalisation when Anglo is dumping Australian assets too.
Hiding behind "investments vary" completely misses the point.
@Zeke_Yeagerist@Vhoyde Imagine calling someone stupid while taking a sensationalized headline at face value. Anglo shifted its primary listing to London in 99' to access international capital. Recycling a 27 y/o move as if it's fresh news is just cheap rage-bait, & you fell for it.

It threatens their status quo. The thought of being slightly inconvenienced makes them fight tooth & nail to keep things as they are.
They're defending nonsense, treating their own comfort as superior to other SAns.
@anitamagubane@Saint_S7ven Spot on. It’s selective solidarity. They love performative pro-Blackness when it applies globally, but the minute it involves Black South Africans, the grace disappears and the superiority complex takes over.
I am resisting to join this academic debate because I’ve listened to some of my academic friends raising it as a real issue.
A more nuanced conversation accepts foreign nationals have a place in our university but must also account is whether or not they should dominate certain faculties where black South Africans are excluded or juniorized
Have a lot of professional middle class friends.
Online and in real life.
Honestly, they dont get it.
Them: Afrophobia, xenophobia etc..
"Sne, this is so unlike you. You always were pro Black!"
I am pro Black.
My chat is why am I expected to care more for other Blacks than Black SAns??
Oh and yes, all my friends live in secure estates😂✋🏾
No country in the world is as frustrating as South Africa!!! 😭🤦🏼♀️ First our forefathers had to fight apartheid and now when we finally believed we are free now we have to fight off foreigners who claim this country is also theirs and we must be internationalised or globalised because we are not good enough to have it for ourselves??? Can’t we just enjoy our country even just for a little bit without someone trying to steal or take over it…goddammit ‼️
