@Rezeslv For me, I've heard it all before and it's the same responses. Many will just act like they care and it hurts to know that they're just acting because they don't know how to handle it. So I give little signals, and people just avoid it or quickly change the subject.

Friendships aren't real. Especially the ones that are just formed out of pity, and the other person doesn't care if you exit their life. They say they care, but it's a mask. So you have to go against human instinct and try to live life alone, among so many. No one cares.

@sylawinget Who hasn't? The only thing that should be holding anyone back is those that care about that person. If someone has no one, like myself, I find it more rational. However. I'm in a country that doesn't assist for that unless terminally ill, so I'm stuck here. I've seen too clearly.

Reason why suicide in men is high is because men aren't allowed to express certain emotions, and that you're punished for reaching out. Rejection after rejection. It's no surprise to me. The US system is also inhumane. Just read stories about living in psych wards.

No wonder people choose death. No one cares and doing things "on your own" is normalized, asking to just be listened to without judgement is impossible. When you're broken, no one wants you around and you're expected to magically get better or give up.
