Tempsford’s first outing in Division 3B ended in disappointment as they fell to a 3-0 home defeat against a clinical Mepal & Sutton side, despite a strong first-half showing.

Goalless at the break, the second half saw Mepal & Sutton grow into the game, and they broke the deadlock with a stunning free-kick from distance that left the Tempsford keeper with no chance. Tempsford battled to find a way back, but two further goals followed.
