This article doesn't go far enough. The pathways to the achievement of "healthy" "positive" masculinity is through the respectful treatment of women. Ending male violence toward women is not some by-product of men's healing. It is the path. It is the medicine itself. We don't say that we need to wait for white people to heal in order for racism to end. We say racism needs to end and it will change white people in the process. Why is there even a conversation about this? Men ending their sexism and misogyny toward women is the pathway to change. It needs to be the purpose not the accidental result of men healing
