@cloverlovania i've said it before but i will take making characters too angsty over them having any emotion sapped any day even if i dislike both bc at least the first is usually sincere whereas the second is pretentiously wrong and sometimes even kinda hostile towards emotional vulnerability

@cloudyweatheryy yeaa, it's kind of weird the game sets up a pattern with these characters and then they suddenly stop appearing halfway through. chapter 5 could've been a good sendoff to their dark world appearances before the game goes full serious mode next chapter

@elytam_ i get why the lake shadows everything but even before that my stomach was in huge knots just because of how upset kris was. won't get up (until us) or eat. susie knowing something is wrong and trying to cheer them up. makes the suicidal allegory with the lake scene all the worse

MOTHER 3 was a really influential game to me. If I hadn't played it, I never would have created the Toriel battle, or, well, any of the other boss battles in the game. It also probably influenced how I try to re-use motifs in my songs, now that I think about it...

@whereisspide @LEPER_KlNG toyhouse culture has gotten unhealthily obsessed with copyright. if at any point you start getting mad at "people taking inspiration from you" (which is often unconscious btw) or think "inspo = copying/theft" you have lost the plot of what the oc community is about

@whereisspide @LEPER_KlNG i think people should stop being so paranoid about inspiration, quite frankly. it's not healthy. if the design stands on its own, especially if someone owns the design that is being taken inspo from, there is no issue
