Why banknotes and not another pfp collection —
Guilloché is the interlocking rosette engraving on every banknote you've ever held. It exists because it's easy to verify and almost impossible to forge by hand — one wrong curve and the whole lattice breaks.
Every bank on earth borrowed that visual language. Not for decoration. It signals something specific: this was made carefully, and you can check it yourself.
Tenure puts it somewhere that claim is actually testable. All 3,333 notes come from a single seed, published with the generator — rerun it and you reproduce every rosette, byte for byte.
Same reason banks used it. Verification, not decoration.
